2 Birthdays in April

It was my birthday yesterday, the 5th, and today was Megan's. Megan turned 3 and I turned the big 35. We had a nice time celebrating in our own little way. Steve sent really pretty flowers. Sarah made me Rice Crispies with strawberries, chocolate milk, and cinnamon toast and served me breakfast in bed. She said she was tired and didn't want to get up that  morning, but knew she needed to. She is great. So mature.  Kate and Tyler helped too. Kate made the word "MOM" out of Legos as well. They all made me cards. Sarah was at a friend's house the day before and her friend's mom took Sarah to the store to get flowers for me. Such sweet little gestures.

              I love tulips. Thanks Steve!

Sarah participated in the Variety Show with our elementary school. She and her friends Lana and Annie did a great job dancing and singing to "Let It Go," a song from the popular movie Frozen.

                     Best Friends!

               Quite the performers!

Megan was happy to turn 3. She loved people singing Happy Birthday to her. She sang it to herself too. It was a nice spring day here in Maryland and the kids played outside most the day. Yeah!

Megan helped me make cookies for her birthday.

                  Great to be 3!

Megan wanted to close her eyes she said. I am not sure where she got that idea. This was right after she blew the candles out. She was so excited to do that!
